Great location to the beach and village. Exactly how described. Rental was clean and heated pool was a definite plus. Had everything we needed for the beach: chairs, umbrella, wagon. Perfect getaway weekend, will definitely be back!

My husband and I had a wonderful 3-night stay and everything was exactly as described! Location was super convenient being such a short walk to BOTH the beach and the village. Unit was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. My only recommends would be to stock the kitchen with some plastic glassware for use by the pool, install a conveniently-placed working hose to rinse sand off feet and beach chairs, and hang a 2nd mirror (full length) to use when 2 people are getting ready at the same time. We would definitely consider staying at The Mermaid again and recommending it to others!

We had an amazing first trip to Siesta Key! The apartment was clean, well equipped, and in an excellent location across the street from the beach and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants in Siesta Key Village! The back porch and private pool were the icing on the cake! Thank you for accommodating us for a later checkout after our flight was delayed as well! We WILL be back!

We loved our stay here. Host was very helpful and quick to respond. The place was very clean and more than enough space for a couple. Walking distance to the village and beach with plenty of nice beach gear. The pool was very clean and a great feature. The guest book may be one of the most detailed I've seen about the area, restaurants and activities. Kitchen was great and had more than we needed for meals. Screen front and back patio with fans and table. This place has been added to our return list and can't wait to visit again.

5 stars. Beautiful, minimalist beach mermaid vibe, and even better than the photos. Everything felt newly renovated from floors to ceiling, it was spotless, clean and thoughtfully furnished. The pool was lovely and felt very private since it is fully fenced. You do share it with the upstairs unit, but no one else used it while we were there. I could see it feeling different if another party/family were using it also, but it would be amazing for an extended family or two friend families to rent both units. Location is ideal. Walkable to restaurants and bars, and an easy walk to the beach. Great beach gear is available (the best beach chairs, towels, umbrellas…even a wagon)! Small notes: the bathroom design is unusual because it opens to the patio and the toilet is right there, so privacy is limited. The rain shower is gorgeous, though I prefer a handheld showerhead. Also, we wished there was a full length mirror. (First world problems for sure)…overall we would ABSOLUTELY stay again!

Charming, clean, and incredibly well located. Few min walk to beach, 10 minute walk to town. Would absolutely come back to this great home.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Marlin in Siesta Key! 🌴 From the start, the communication was excellent—our host responded quickly and made the booking process seamless. They were always accessible and helpful whenever needed, which made everything stress-free. The property itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The full kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a weekend getaway, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches. The location is unbeatable! Just a 5-minute walk to the beach and right in the center of shops and restaurants. It was the perfect balance of convenience and relaxation. The host also provided great local information about the town and surrounding areas, which really added to our experience. Overall, everything was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the perfect Siesta Key stay! 🌞🏖️

We loved staying here! The owner was very responsive and the home was very clean. We loved how walkable it was to the beach access and Siesta Key Village area!

Such a pleasant stay! Easy walk to one of the many public beach accesses and just a short distance from many shops and restaurants. We will definitely seek this out for our next trip!

Amazing stay at the Mermaid! Everything matched the photos! Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, close to the beach AND with ALL the beach gear! The pool was a welcome retreat from the beach and sea salt. So close to everything. We'll be staying here again on our next trip to Siesta Key.

Gabriel's place was wonderful and exactly as described. Closer walk to the beach than anticipated. Very clean and comfortable. Extremely responsive. I'd love to stay here again when visiting Siesta Key next time. Backyard and pool was extremely peaceful and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay. Great location!! Walkable to both beach and restaurants - you can try a new one every night! Plus the local market is there too. Hard to beat for a good ole beach trip!! They have everything and the people are just awesome 😎

The house was perfect for 2 people and the beach amenities are nice - wagon, umbrella, chairs & towels. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Cute little pool with screened in porch with fans. This place has everything you need for a great stay.

A nice spot in a great location. It's only a block away from the public beach entrance and less than a 10min walk into town. The kids absolutely loved the pool and it's well heated which made it comfortable in the mornings and evenings. Check in was easy and everything was nice and clean.

The Mermaid has a great feel - lots of windows/light and screened in porches front and back to hang out in! Everything looked great and worked perfect. The location is walkable to both downtown and a very uncrowded beach…and there are two beach accesses right across the street!
